Do you love singing in a choir?
Are you looking to level-up your vocal and musicianship skills?
Are you looking to meet and learn with a community of fellow choir lovers?
Introducing...

Choral music is not one of life’s frills. It’s something that goes to the very heart of our humanity, our sense of community, and our souls.
- John Rutter, composer & conductor

Have you ever experienced the magic of being part of a choral ensemble, where every note creates a tapestry of sound?
Over my fifteen-year career as a professional singer and voice teacher, my true passion has always been singing in a choir. There is nothing more thrilling, communal, and enriching to the human spirit than making music with a choir of other musicians, sharing our joy for our craft with an audience who is there to share in the experience of music being created in real time.
In addition to singing with esteemed professional ensembles both as a soloist and as a choral artist-collaborator, I’ve had the immense pleasure of working with singers of so many different backgrounds and abilities in church choirs, community choruses, and high school and collegiate-level ensembles.
The people I’ve seen come in through the door for rehearsal or a performance all share one common thread:a love for singing and the joy of being together with a community of music lovers like themselves.
Sometimes, though, we're held back from fully letting ourselves go and being the singer that we want to be. Our voices are spent after long hours of rehearsals, or we’re unsure how to practice that difficult piece our conductor has just assigned us for the big upcoming concert, or we’re simply doubting our own abilities and wondering if we’re actually capable and worthy of being here with your community.
These issues lead to singers…
-
Whose voices are exhausted, close to frying out, after long rehearsals or a series of performances
-
Who are spending hours drilling music in their practice time ad nauseam, but it’s just not sticking in their minds
-
Who are overwhelmed and frustrated when they can’t rely on a good strategy for learning tricky musical works
-
Who are lacking confidence in their own abilities and get in their own way of fully being in the momentwhen making music with their peers
I feel for them, because I’ve been there myself.
Even with the wonderful opportunities I’ve had over the years, there are times when I, too, have been vocally exhausted, mentally fried, and allowed doubt to creep in and color the perception of my own abilities as a singer and artist.
Taking my own experiences and those of my fellow choral music lovers to heart, I realized it was time to take the skills I’ve acquired over the years, both through trial and error and from learning from my own colleagues, and share them in a way that can help other choral singers level up in their own singing, their musicianship skills, and most importantly, their confidence.

Imagine transforming these challenges into strengths with the right guidance and a community of like-minded peers.
Imagine a program where you’ll learn…
-
It’s not about vocally powering through and hoping on a prayer that your voice makes it to the end of a long rehearsal – it’s about being aware of how your voice works and how to use it both efficiently and to your own advantage.
-
You don’t have to be intimidated by the sight of a piano – just learning simple scales and knowing your keyboard “geography” can unlock the piano as your go-to practice tool.
-
It’s not about how long you’re practicing – it’s how you’re practicing to begin with, and then making your practice time more economical and efficient. With the right tools and mindset, you can actually get so much more accomplished in way less time!
-
It’s not about mindless repetition and drilling your music– it’s about learning tools and tricks to help you study new or difficult pieces of music quickly, efficiently, and confidently.
-
It’s about using these skills to develop confidence in your ability as an individual singer and as a member of your choir. You’ve got this!
And all the while learning these skills with an online community of fellow music-lovers of different backgrounds and abilities?
